Basic Rental Rates

For-Profit Presenters    Base Rent 

Presenting outside attractions   $400

Two performances in one day   $550

Weekly use – 7 days – up to 8 performances $1,500 per week flat rate

Non-ticketed Event – no admission-1/2 day $350 (up to 4.5 hours)

Non-ticketed Event – no admission – Full day $1,000 

Non-Profit Rentals    Base Rent 

Presenting outside attractions   $400

Presenting their own work   $375

Two performances in one day   $500

Weekly Use (7 days up to 8 performances) $950 per week flat rates

Non-ticketed Event – no admission-1/2 day $325 ( up to 4.5 hours)

Non-ticketed Event – no admission – Full day $750 

Other rental charges 

Rehearsal and early set up   $175 per day – subject to availability

Minimum deposit required all events  $175 per day/$500 per week (non refundable) 

House Manager     $18.00/hour

Non ticketed event    Due in full 48 hours prior to event 

Other Hall costs 

Box Office Staff Member   $18.00 per hour (3 hour minimum)

Light and Sound Board Usage   $100 per day

Technician     $22.00 per hour

Police security     $45 per hour (4 hour minimum)

Building security    $17.75 per hour (4 hour minimum) 

Theatre Rental – Movies    

Projectionist     $25.00 per hour (when showing 35mm movies)

DVD Rental     House Manager-$18.00 an hour

Auditorium/stage is handicapped accessible 
Deposit required on all rentals, as well as proof of insurance for special events/performances

General Guidelines

  • The above rates are general guidelines and could differ depending on the particular requirements of the event, please call us to discuss.
  • Renting organizations must provide a certificate of liability insurance.
  • Performance rates may be negotiated at the flat rates listed above, a split of admissions revenue, or a combination of the two.
  • Concession rights are reserved by the Mounds Theatre unless other arrangements are negotiated.
  • A damage deposit is required.
  • Charges cover use of facilities only. Technical services for sound and lights are extra.
  • There is an extra fee for motion picture equipment use.
  • Motion picture rental and projectionist fees are extra unless provided by customer.
  • Outside catering is allowed. A set up area is available.
  • Alcohol is allowed if provided by a licensed bartender. Alcohol liability insurance is required. Security may be required.
  • A contract must be signed and a non-refundable down payment received before rental dates are secure.
