We are holding auditions ages 13 to adults for the Historic Mounds Theatre’s The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents, directed by Caitlin Hammel

Performances will be April 20th-22, 27th-29th, and May 4th-6th

Auditions will be held at the Historic Mounds Theatre, 1029 Hudson Road, St. Paul, MN 55106.
We will be casting at least 15 actors, ages 13-adult

Auditions:
Saturday, February 18th 1-4 pm
Sunday, February 19th 1-4 pm

Callbacks:
Saturday, February 26th 1-4 pm

Bring a resume and headshot at the time of your audition. Auditions will consist of reading from the script.

Rehearsals will be weeknights starting March 13th, with potential weekend rehearsals.

Description of the play:

Maurice is no ordinary cat. He's amazing. He can think, he can talk...and he has an amazing scam going. And all he needs to pull it off is an army of intelligent rats and one stupid-looking kid. But when his gang enter Bad Blintz, the town they have decided to con next, they soon realizethat all is not as it should be - and decide to investigate. Three squads of rats spread out under the town, their mission to dismantle traps, bury poison, do some serious widdling, and to find out exactly what those resident rat-catchers are up to...

This play is based on the novel by award winning writer Terry Prachett
Based on the Adaptation by Stephen Briggs

Mr. Mystery Productions and Historic Mounds Theater are teaming up to produce a special audience interactive mystery dinner theater on Sunday, March 11.

Please consider auditioning for this special show at Mounds theater on February 21 and 22nd starting at 6 PM. No reservations required. Be ready for some improvisational exercises. Headshot and resume desired but not mandatory.  The Mounds Theatre is located at 1029 Hudson Road, Saint Paul, MN  55106.  Questions - 651-772-8674.

The Caribbean Cruise Conspiracy

Getaway from this endless Winter, without ever leaving Minnesota! Join Captain Thomas Moorhead as he celebrates his twenty-fifth anniversary with the Cozy Comfy Cruise line. Accompanying Captain Moorhead is his scoundrel First Officer Stuart Milbender; his Cruise Director Karen Granger; and other members of this wacky crew as they party hearty for their beloved Captain. But watch out! Is someone on the crew not entirely happy with the way things are turning out? The answer becomes clear when one of the crew turns up DEAD! It is now up to Security Chief Lee Wood to solve this dastardly crime, with the help of the passengers - YOU! Put all those hours of watching CSI to good use! Earn juicy clues, interrogate the suspects, examine evidence; then turn in your solution for the chance of winning a fabulous prize!
