Rental

The Mounds Theatre can be rented on an hourly, half-day, full day or weekly basis for rehearsals, performances (plays, concerts, motion pictures),
 dances, receptions, meetings, parties
or any other event.

General Rental Guidelines

  1. Renting organizations must provide a certificate of liability insurance.
  2. Performance rates may be negotiated at a flat rate, a split of admissions revenue or a combination of the two.
  3. Concession rights are reserved by the Mounds Theatre unless other arrangements are negotiated.
  4. A damage deposit is required.
  5. Charges cover use of facilities only. Technical services for sound and lights extra.
  6. There is an extra fee for motion picture equipment use.
  7. Motion picture rental and projectionist fees extra unless provided by customer.
  8. Outside catering is allowed.  A set up area is available.
  9. Alcohol allowed if provided by a licensed bartender.  Alcohol liability insurance is required.  Security may be required.
  10. A contract must be signed and a nonrefundable down payment received before rental dates are secure.
  11. These  guidelines are for general reference  only and could differ depending on the particular requirements of the event.
