| Rocky Horror Picture Show is the original
Audience Participation experience. A live
performance of RHPS is a unique multi-media
event where you, the audience, are part of the show. A "shadow" cast
made up of members from Transvestite Soup will attempt to recreate as
accurately as possible what you see on
screen, while leaving room for amusing improv. The audience will yell
their own dialogue back at the screen and at live actors (some
traditional, some spontaneous). Dressing up appropriately is
particularly common at a Twin Cities show. Pushing boundaries of taboo
and naughtiness are de rigeur. A live RHPS show could be compared to circus sideshow, burlesque, Renaissance Faire street theater, living marionettes, jazz fusion cover band, 3rd-grade class play, live action cartoon, and traditional stage play. It's like organic orange juice. It's like everything you've ever known that's good for you.
